Methods and stages of strategic planning in Holder Financial Group Corporate Level Strategy
In order to integrate the group’s goals in the financial services chain, the strategic plan of all subsidiaries, including vision, mission, goals, strategies and action plans, is determined by Holdir Financial Group. Strategic planning is a practical roadmap that is drawn for group companies so that they can walk the path with a clear vision.
This document helps subsidiaries set and achieve short-term goals while also taking into account the long-term vision of the group. The implementation of the planned process in the group companies is fully supported and supervised by Holder.
At Holder, we look at how and when to implement the group’s strategic plan in the planning process. To formulate strategic planning, the macroeconomic and political environment governing the business is first assessed at the national level. Then the necessary checks are performed at the level of the holder. Since Holder is a multi-business company that is responsible for the overall management of the businesses or companies under its management, the next level of strategy is prepared at the business level. That is, the same companies that are managed by Holdair Financial Group. The next two levels are task-level strategy and individual-level strategy.
Since addressing the issue of strategy at each level requires understanding the strategies of higher levels, we at Heldir consider group strategy to formulate strategy at the subsidiary level. Group-level strategy is also developed by understanding and being inspired by national strategies. The main thing that the managers of Holdir Financial Group do is how a business enters and exits the group portfolio. Entry into companies, whether in the form of internal and organic growth or the acquisition of new businesses, is in line with the general policies of Holder, and this issue is sensitively considered by the board of directors of the group.
Therefore, in general, strategic decisions in Holder Financial Group include the following three categories:
Business portfolio planning
Supervision strategies
And guidance strategies
